They have been designed with aim to offer optimum performance per unit weight combined with high mechanical robustness and excellent thermal and acoustical insulation properties, dimensional stability, excellent processing characteristics, excellent chemical resistance to acidic and alkaline environments at high temperatures making them the ideal choice for a wide variety of industrial applications (notably for filters and a range of acoustic and thermal management lightweight solutions for automotive and aeronautical industry).
