Core-spun FILAVA Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) yarns

Our core-spun yarns where FILAVA^TM is wrapped with Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) yarns are hybrid comingled solutions and are produced in a single operation at the time of spinning while these two different materials are mixed together in a core-wrap structure to form continuous-filament yarns. Thanks to combined great advantages of  the core and the cover both product’s characteristics and with the tensile strength and their thermal stability as well the low friction coefficient of PTFE, our core-spun yarns are extensively used in technical textiles and as fiber reinforcement in industrial, civil engineering applications where high chemical resistance is required.
Due to their exceptional mechanical properties as tensile strength, outstanding abrasion resistance, appropriated elasticity for stretch requirements, this product can obviously provide endless solutions while different types of polymeric materials can be combined with FILAVA^TM with required ratio of each product.
